SAFARI 2000 Organic Soil Carbon and Nitrogen Data (Zinke et al.)

Note that these data are available in three different file formats.  The
original data is available as a comma delimited (csv) ASCII file.  Additional
formats inclue an ESRI shapefile (tar archive needs to be uncompressed before
importing) and an ESRI export file.  These additional formats were added as
a courtesy to our users, they are not described in the original documentation. 


Data files:

safari_zinke_soil.csv - a comma delimted ASCII file.

safari_zinke_soil_shp.tar - a tar archive containing shapefile 
                            components (*.shp, *shx, *.sbx, *.sbn, and *.dbf).

safari_zinke_soil.e00 - an ESRI export file <COVER>.
