The files is this directory were generated by the regional boreal forest production efficiency model. Each file is an image of size 1000x1000, with a single byte per pixel value (i.e., 0-255). npp.img is net primary production in gC/m2-yr gpp.img is gross primary production in gC/m2-yr Ra.img is autotrpohic respiration in gC/m2-yr Each of these images should be multiplied by 10 to get the above "real units." lue.img is the dry matter yield of absorbed photosynthetically active radiation, or light use efficiency, in gC/MJ. This image should be multiplied by 50 to get the correct unit values. Image coordinates (upper left origin) are easily related to BORIS grid coordinates (lower left origin): grid_X = image_pixel grid_Y = 1000 - image_line The BORIS X grid range is from 175 to 975 km and the BORIS Y grid range is from 0 to 1000 km.This encompasses the NSA and SSA, and much of the BOREAS study region. For example, the NSA old jack pine tower site with BORIS grid coordinates of Y=617, X=769 has image coordinates of line=383, pixel=769.
