1.  read panpforc.e00 into arc/info using the
    IMPORT command (import cover panpforc panpforc).
2.  ran a describe on the coverage, panpforc (describe panpforc).
3.  Because the projection information was not included
    in the export file (.e00); I ran project define using the
    projection parameters defined in the .doc file
    (projectdefine cover panpforc).
4.  exported panpforc with the cover option and no 
    file compression (export cover panpforc panpforc none)
