BOREAS RSS-14 Level-3 Gridded Radiometer and Satellite Surface
Radiance Images.

Scaled surface radiation parameters interpolated from GOES-7
images and AMS data onto the standard BOREAS mapping grid
at a resolution of 5 km N-S and E-W.

6144 files at 30 minutes increments starting on 16-May-1994
and ending 20-September-1994.  Each file is 170,352 bytes.
The first 12168 bytes is an ASCII header,  and the remainder
of each file contains 12168 bytes for each of 13 variables.
Each variable consists of 78 by 78 pixels, 2-bytes signed
data per pixel.  No byte swapping required for Unix systems.

The Imagine file rss14-gr3-05-16-1994-0030.img is a 13 band
file loaded in band sequential order from file_00002 on
mass store.  JPEG images were created from each band (variable)
using 2 standard deviations stretch and 75% quality factor.
